anodizing
Anodizing is a widely used method to improve the surface quality of aluminum. Anodizing not only increases the durability and corrosion resistance of the profiles, but also enables a wide range of colors and decorative design options. Our automated systems guarantee consistent surface quality and thus high repeatability and reproducibility of the results in production.
Technical capacity:
·Dimensions: piece anodized; Max. 7,500mm
·Coating thicknesses: 5-25 μm
The type of pre-treatment is classified by the designations E0 to E6. These designations differ in mechanical (E1-E5) and chemical (E0 / E6) processes and significantly influence the result of the final surface.
pretreatment
E0
Without pre-treatment, anodized and compressed.
· Traces of deformation and surface damage remain visible.
E1
Ground, anodized and compressed. Uniform, dull surface.
· Major surface damage remains visible.
E2
Brushed, anodized and sealed. Uniform, bright surface.
· Major surface damage remains visible.
E3
Polished, anodized and sealed.
·Shiny surface.
E4
Ground and brushed, anodized and compacted.
· Uniformly bright surface.
E5
Ground and polished, anodized and sealed.
·Smooth glossy surface.
E6
Chemically pre-treated, anodized and sealed.
·Matt rough surface. Scratches are largely leveled out.
color range
powder coating
Powder coating is the preferred method for painting aluminum profiles. This method offers an unlimited range of colors, different gloss effects and very high color fidelity.
Technical capacities:
· Dimensions: Max. 7,500mm
· Layer thicknesses: 60-140μm
· Surfaces: RAL, NCS colors as well as customer-specific metallic and special colors
· Systems: Horizontal and vertical powder coating systems
grinding / brushing
Give your profile a special touch and improve its decorative character by sanding or brushing. This technique creates fine marks on the surface in the grinding direction, which are available in different degrees of fineness, from "very fine" to "coarse".
polishing
Level the surface of your profile while enhancing shine with polishing. Whether it is a high gloss or a matte finish, polishing allows you to customize the finish to your liking. For example, choose chemical polishing and anodizing (high-gloss anodizing) for a particularly shiny effect.
